We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to make our refund process as transparent and straightforward as possible.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all first-time subscriptions to our paid plans (Pro, Team, or tailored Business plans).

Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund under this guarantee, you must meet the following criteria:

  • The refund request must be made within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase.
  • The request must apply to your first-time subscription to a paid EdithPro plan.
  • You must provide a valid reason for the refund (though the guarantee is 'no questions asked', your feedback helps us improve).

Exclusions

The 14-day money-back guarantee does not apply to:

  • Subscription renewals (monthly or annual).
  • Plan upgrades or seat additions made after the initial 14-day period.
  • Accounts that have been terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
  • Second-time purchasers who previously received a refund for the same service.

Cancellation vs. Refunds

It is important to understand the difference between cancelling a subscription and requesting a refund:

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation prevents future auto-renewals. You will continue to have full access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.

Refunds

A refund is a return of funds for a period you have already been billed for. Outside of the 14-day money-back guarantee, we generally do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods or unused seats.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@edithpro.app from the email address associated with your EdithPro account.
  2. Include the subject line: 'Refund Request - [Your Account Email]'.
  3. Provide your Order ID or Basket ID (found in your confirmation email or billing dashboard).
  4. Briefly state the reason for your request.

Our support team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

Special Circumstances

Technical Issues

If a significant technical issue prevents you from using EdithPro and our team is unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, we may issue a full or pro-rated refund at our sole discretion, even outside the standard 14-day window.

Accidental Double Billing

In the rare event that you are accidentally charged twice for the same subscription, please notify us immediately for a full refund of the duplicate charge.

Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved and initiated by EdithPro, it typicaly takes 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear back in your original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.). This timeframe is determined by your financial institution and is outside of our direct control.
